Season 56 Recap

Written by Sasol Leeus at 13:53 11/5-2021

There has been quite a lot happening around Sasol Leeus this latest season!

Forst starters, all of the trio of talent that are the African crown-jewel Balinda Fulani, Spanish matador Cesaro Brugera and Swazi gazelle Mkosi Khompela have finished their training and will certainly team-up in races in seasons to come! Now its on them to proof their worth in OCM action!

Balinda has certainly already shown a glimmer of what he might do for us this coming season, by spectacularly wining the Minutemen's precious green sprinting-jersey. After letting him have a rest from racing for a while, the plan is, that he will be racing another tour this season - will he be able to repeat his spectacular feat from season 56?

Talking about results: if measured by results, season 56 has been the most successful one in our teams long history!
Since Sasol Leeus first joined OCM race action back in season 20, last season's 15 results had never been achieved. Although the 7 wins in the times of legendary Benele Gulwa could not be reached, we look back at a really successful season seeing us reach division 3 again.
The season's highlight, however, definitely was Balinda's SC triumph in the US giving us our second only jersey!

Also, the Leeus' race-planing division has been busy last season, longing for the pandemic to be over and dreaming about spectacular bike-racing.
One of the two new tour designs published by die Leeus se Tours last season, will take you on a rollercoaster ride through the famous mountain range in Southern Germany. The other is a race designed on roads around our team's home-base in Cape Town.
If you find yourself barred from traveling ans stuck at home, both designs offer an invitation to a virtual road trip and be your guide through old memories or a new region you haven't been before!

You can find all designs here:
  http://www.cyclingsimulator.com/forum/suggestions/262773

Also, if there is anything apart from death and taxes that is certain, it is that we will keep on designing and begging for new tours to make an appearance on the OCM race-calendar ;)

With that being said, we hope for an equally as successful season 57 and wish all managers in the OCM community very much the same!

Good season, Stephan. And nive that your trainees all maxed pretty high. But the best things are really those race designs! I especially liked the SA one.
